WEll, I do not have a single answer for the question but I do have some ramblings for you.
There is someone from Slytherin & Hufflepuff that could match the breath from a Nundu.
Yesterday, I was made enough to be a Cornish Pixie. I would like to see a Bowtrukle when I go to Germany. This summer I am going to see if I can do an internship at a Snidget Sanctuary.

seriously

this person and you know who you are has been sneaking around with a certain Professor who needs to be Manstyled in the worst way. I will agree that the dark side has a certain appeal but come on could you not have found someone with better teeth?

Professor Lupin had excellent teeth, just saying.

Also, we do have an invisibility cloak in the common room for sneaking around.
Great, just great, you get busted by Hufflepuff and we will never, ever live it down.

Memory, where have you gone?

Late yesterday, I "lost" a knitting needle, a Brittany 2.25mm and I started to panic because the other day I had broken one of them and Brittany's are hard to find now a days.

Chrysta and Emma were looking at me strangely when they both started laughing, I told them it was not funny because I really wanted to finish the socks for my mother.

Chrysta walks up to me and says, "Abra-ca-dabra" then pulls the needle from the back of head. "See, we really can pull things from your head, Elanor."

I had stuck the needle in my braid and forgot about it. Somedays I really think I should change my name to Elanor the Absentminded.

Well, the smell has finally left the room, sort of. Emma is relieved. MONDAY though wet barn animal will stick up the room again. No complaints this time to our Prefect because I will be making some for her. nananana

My mom sent me an email, muggle computer use, telling me that her and dad were doing date night to night. Dad is a manufacturing engineer and mom is a phlebotomist, she works with special needs patients. They went to a local place called the Big10 and ate salty pizza. She said it was nice and that it would be a good place to knit, drink beer and surf the internet. She was hoping that dad was taking her to Moscow on the Hill because he has been talking about it and has left their webpage open the last few nights.

Ok, not sure what all that means. I did not even know Mom liked Russian food let alone drank beer.

I heard a rumor that our Prefect was going to be busy this week and not going to be around to supervise us. Emma D. has been busy doing her Ministry stuff so that will leave us pretty much on our own. Yes, there is Minee but if we give her a tough potion to figure out she will be out of our hair.

Now, to see if Chrysta is up for some late night dare doing. Anyone else want to join.

Monday and answer to QUIZ

I am most certainly sore and tired today. Professor Sprout's garden will be wonderful when it fills out this summer. I will post pictures of what we did on Tuesday.

I think I have worked out the "bugs" in the orderbegone Charm and the room starts to smell like lavender then fades into fresh mowed grass. It lasts for a few hours then fades off, so I have to do it first thing in the morning and when we come back from class.

I am glad that Tonks, Emma R. and Patonga figured out how to stop the noise from snoring. Being right next to their room made for a few restless nights.

Agatha and Miranda and Emma D. are in the room on the other side of ours. We are in the corner room and they are pretty quiet except they say Miranda talks in her sleep which I do not hear since I sleep on the side of the room near SnoreCentral.

swappee humor

I forgot to mention that my swap partner is in Divination class we me and we both hate it. Which is rather funny. I think I might send her a mini tarrot deck or maybe a gazing ball.

New roommate

I have a new roommate Emma Diggory. She is going to be the one to keep Chrysta and I on track. She is very organized and on top of things. She spent last term working for the Ministry in the Potions department.

I hope that she does not mind that our room smells like wet wool most of the time. Between Chrysta's roving and me dyeing stuff, it seriously does have a barnyard smell. I did use a orderbegone Charm but the room stunk like some funky rose potpourri that we both agreed not to use that one again. I think today I will try a Charm so the room smells like lavender or fresh mowed grass.

I have to get going, I am helping Professor Sprout put in another garden. We started it on Saturday and made it half way through before it was time to clean up and go for evening meal. It would be nice if she would use a rototiller but since she is not comfortable with Muggle tools, we do it the manual way. Today we are also going to buy some worms to help with the aeration of the soil and start putting in the plants.

Biography

This is the house that I live in. It is not the house that I was born in. I grew up being Muggle and had great fun with my Cadogan cousins because they were all ways doing these cool tricks. Little did I know that I would be able to do them too, I am the youngest and of the entire Cadogan Clan.

Last year was my first year at Hogwarts, I roomed with my cousin Celestina Cadogan and my good friend Gabriella Clearwater. Gabby is with her family in the Ukraine and Celestina is now at Beauxbaton. This year, I have a roommate that came with a ton of STUFF and our room smells like a barn due to the roving. Plus I dyed yarn on Monday night and well, it smells too.

Mom says I am powered by the sun because the more sunlight I get the more reved I am. Not sure about that since I would rather curl up and sleep in the sunlight. Most of the time, I have a short attention span unless it is a book and then it will have all of my attention until we are done. Everything else gets done in spurts. Sit for an hour move around for a bit sit for an hour...

I am a junky for Minee's treats and Esmie's fire whiskey. The combination of the two tend to put on a bit of extra weight so I need to cut back or find another activity to do.

That is all for now, do not be fooled at the rambling of this post. It is just my way.

Monday and time to hit the books.

It would help some if Chrysta and I were a bit more organized. I thought I had D.D.A. first thing in the morning and it was Arithmancy followed by Divination.

Divination is by far the worst class ever. I did not like it last term and I am not liking it this term.

The afternoon was pleasant. Spent it on a blanket reading, knitting and napping. After the evening meal I went back up to my room and created some interesting colored yarn. When they are dried, I will take pictures of them and put them up for all to oo&aah over.

Be warned, my colours are shocking!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY DAYS

First off, this weekend was the best EVER!! I spent it with my new roommate Chrysta, we went shopping at the Sheep and Fiber Festival where I live.

We spent 3hours at the festival looking at everything and then we hit the booths that had the stuff that we wanted. When I do these kinds of fairs, I need to check all the booths out then go back and buy otherwise, poof the $$ is all gone and I do not have half of what I wanted.

I bought A-L-O-T of yarn for dying and dyes. Chrysta said she likes to dye with natural plant items, which is cool but for me, I like colour!!!!!!!!!!!

After the fair, we went to a local yarn shop and an herbal store. Of course we were hungry by then so we walked across the street and ate at the local pub with two friends who are muggles. Now, how is that for an excellent little town? LYS,Herbal store and Pub al on the same street all on the same half block.

To top off the weekend, I have my spoilers name and my spoilees name. Both of them are 1st year Hogwart Students so it will be fun learning about them.

Well, term starts soon and I am worn out from the weekend. My first class is Dark Arts and well, my history with the Professor is interesting.

NEW ROOMMATE

I have a new roommate. Her name is Chrysta the Cursed.

I am not sure what she is cursed with but I am guessing it is clutter.
When I came back from dinner, I was a bit surprised to find two cats, a spinning wheel, a couple of bags of roving and more yarn than my local yarn store.

While she may be cursed, I do believe I have been blessed. Now, I can learn how to spin.
No Esmie, spinning the bottle is not the same thing.

Sunny day

Tuesday was wet and it was a good day to stay inside and read. When I was tired of reading, I would knit, when I was tired of knitting I would read. That was the pattern. I took my meals in my room because I was not feeling very social. Not even the tease of Minee's pumpkin pasties could budge me from the room.

Today was/is a perfect spring day. Sunny, warm nice breeze to come by and cool one off when it became a bit too warm. I did the same thing as I did yesterday. One small change, I planted some tomatoes and peppers.

I have been working on getting better with my dark arts. I really want to show the Professor that I have improved even if it is a little bit.

Sunday

Well, my first weekend home alone did not turn into that at all. Mom had to go the hospital because she was having chest pains which turned out to be her hiatal hernia (paraesphageal hernia). She will be there for the next week. She is doing fine but she is sore and entirely too quiet.

Professor Von Humperdink was sent to find me on Friday to let me know that I was leaving and once again with my nose in a book, I walked into him. I really, really do need to quit doing that because now I am going to be all freaked out again this year.

"Ms. Cadogan, it would behoove you to understand your surroundings better than to be engrossed in a book. We would not want you twisting your ankle again this term, would we."

"YYes Professor." As I sit looking up at him from the floor.

"You will be going home for the weekend your Mother is in the hospital. You are going floo network. When you get home your Father will tell you more."

WOO-HOO, the best part of the weekend is getting to use the floo network TWICE!!!!!!!!

hmmmm

I just realized the second weekend into the term is Mother's Day weekend. I wonder if we are going to be able to go home and visit or if our parents need to send a letter asking permission for us to go home.

It is also the sheep and wool festival and I really, really, want to go. I have a burning desire you dye yarn and play with colours. It is, in a way a safer way to play with "potions."

Today, I have lacked ambition. I have a list of things that I would like to do but none of them have been done. I hate when my days are not constructed into time slots. I know, it sounds strange for a 12year old to be this way but it is the only way I can focus.

It is almost 4O;clock and I have spent two hours surfing the internet and reading blogs and emails.
